Lana is the founder of Lana's Learning Lab and a junior at Rutgers University, majoring in finance with a minor in philosophy, politics, and economics. She developed her passion for teaching while tutoring at the university’s writing center, inspiring her to create this tutoring service. Lana specializes in English reading and writing, working primarily with middle and high school students of all levels. 

Her approach focuses on building strong foundational writing skills and effective reading strategies, tailored to each student's individual learning needs. Lana’s experience also includes tutoring undergraduate writing at her university's writing center, further refining her expertise. Outside of tutoring, she enjoys playing volleyball, crocheting, and grabbing boba with friends. She offers online sessions on Friday afternoons and weekends.

Bria is currently attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and has 3 years of experience helping students achieve their academic goals. She specializes in SAT prep, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Statistics. She works with students in middle school, high school, and college. Bria loves teaching and believes in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident expressing themselves and tackling new challenges. 

In her tutoring sessions, students can expect tailored guidance that focuses on improving problem-solving strategies, test-taking skills, and developing strong fundamentals while building confidence and fostering a love for learning. When not tutoring, Bria enjoys playing volleyball and exploring her Philly campus. She is available for online sessions on Wednesday afternoons and weekends by appointment.

Shirleen is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at Northeastern University. As an Honors student on the pre-medical track, Shirleen has extensive experience in advanced molecular mechanisms that govern cellular processes and has a strong passion for anything science-related.  She specializes in Biology and Chemistry for all ages.

Shirleen believes that patience and empathy are key to fostering an environment in which students can thrive and build confidence in their work and critical-thinking skills. She breaks down complex topics into more digestible content by connecting them to real-world examples and shares problem-solving techniques she used to excel in classes. Outside of tutoring, Shirleen loves to read, volunteer at local nursing homes, and explore Boston with her friends. Shirleen offers online tutoring sessions on Tuesday evenings and the weekends by appointment.

Victoria is a dedicated tutor specializing in essay writing, English Reading & Writing, AP Language and Literature Composition, Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology for middle and high school students. Currently pursuing degrees in Marine Science & Biotechnology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, she brings years of experience in helping students achieve their academic goals. Victoria's teaching approach emphasizes patience and positive reinforcement, creating an environment where students feel comfortable tackling new challenges.

Her tutoring sessions focus on enhancing essay structure, grammar, literary analysis, problem-solving skills, and study strategies. Victoria has extensive experience in preparing students for college essay writing and exams, as well as strengthening overall academic writing skills. In her free time, she enjoys video games, singing, and watching dramas. Victoria offers online tutoring sessions on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, Wednesday afternoons, and weekends by appointment.

Rut is a recent graduate of Rutgers University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Analytics & Information Technology, along with a minor in Mathematics. With substantial experience in advanced mathematics, he specializes in Calculus (single- and multi-variable), Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Optimization, and Graph Theory, supporting students at all educational levels.

Rut’s tutoring approach emphasizes breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts and connecting mathematical theory to practical applications in computer science and business. He is dedicated to fostering a supportive, engaging environment where students can build confidence, enhance problem-solving skills, and strengthen their foundational knowledge.
